About me: I currently run my own farming business in conjunction with the family farm that consists of grain and hay. This farming operation is more of a lifestyle than a job and I am looking for someone to share it with.

What sort of girl are you looking for? What do you want to find in a partner? I am looking for someone attractive, fit, motivated, energetic and always ready to have a good time; an ambitious lady always ready to give it all her best. Above all else she must be down to earth and love a laugh and a drink.

Interests: Farming and farm machinery (to keep up with modern technology) — that's my life. Jet skiing — good fun, get out of the dust and get into the water. I love to go the Sunshine Coast. Water skiing — I can do it on my own place when we have water…

Music: I basically like anything except country music; I don't like it that's for sure! Alternative rock — U2, Live — I have all their CDs. The Living End, Powderfinger, Snow Patrol. I listen to the radio all the time.

Reading: Light reading (Zoo magazine and farm machinery magazines). Very basic — I don't read books, my mind wanders too much.

Movies: I like a good thriller eg Hannibal, Butterfly Effect — something that keeps your mind wondering about it … but not after the end, that's too frustrating! Or comedies, edge-of-your-seat movies or good Australian movies like The Castle because it's so true.

Dislikes: Black hats (you can't trust anyone who wears a black hat), cats (all cats and especially feral cats), try-hards (it's easier to be yourself than someone you're not), and smokers (just over it).

The final word from Farmer Peter: I am willing to help anyone who is willing to help me, it's about partnership and it takes two to make it work. But the main thing is you must have fun!
