About me: I have been farming pretty well all my life, I love what I do and I'm very passionate about it. Certain times of the year I am very busy but the rest of the year I'm fairly flexible and get away as much as I can.

I'm a pretty easygoing type of guy that makes friends easily. I take people for who they are, not what they have or where they come from. I come from a close and happy family and firmly believe this has made me the happy confident person I am today.

What sort of girl are you looking for? What do you want to find in a partner?Self confidence is the first thing I look for, someone that is happy with who they are and able to be comfortable in any crowd. A sense of humour is always good as well as an active mind and body and there must be some kind of physical attraction.

I want a partner that I can trust and will stand by me through good times and bad and who is not afraid to speak her mind.

What age girl are you looking for? Anywhere from 23 to 33 with no children.

The most interesting thing about me is... Some people eat to live, I live to eat. I love my food and love to cook. So yes, I am hard to impress in the kitchen, but I don't mind if I cook every night.

When I've done all there is to do in farming I would like to start my own restaurant some day.

Interests: I live a fairly active life and love anything that involves adrenalin. In summer I spend most of my spare time on the water, either skiing or wakeboarding. In winter I like to get to the snow whenever I can. I play squash and mixed netball in local comps, tennis socially and do a bit of swimming for fitness. I also enjoy fishing.

I have a large circle of friends from all over the place, which gives me a very active social life. Of late it has consisted mainly of weddings and related parties. Country races are the other main social event out here. I like to get to Sydney when ever there's a good excuse.

Music: I like a wide range of music, anything from Fleetwood Mac to Leftfield to Ministry of Sound.

JJJ is my favourite radio station, mind you there aren't that many to choose from out here.

Reading: I like to stay in touch with the world through newspapers and I am a bit partial to the odd trash mag. In books I prefer autobiographies and true stories to fiction.

Some recent reads are Mr Nice, Touching the Void and Don't tell Mum I Work on the Rigs.

Movies: I find a lot of new-release Hollywood movies hard to get into. I find myself watching old favourites over and over again. I'm a big fan of Guy Ritchie flicks like Lock Stock and Snatch. I watched Meet The Fockers for about the fifth time the other night and still loved it.

Dislikes: Incompetence. Shallow, materialistic people and drought.

The final word from Farmer Gus: I'm always looking for ways to make life more interesting and it doesn't get any more interesting than this. Opportunities like this only come once and you never know, I just might find the girl of my dreams.
