The Block 2012

Have been a block fan for some time was a little disapionted on how elimination shows went this year very unfair on some especial mum and son team how come they got different pieces when others did not i am not the only one that thinks same many people i know who watch regulary still talk about this it looked like they were set up to loose would have been good to see mum and son or farther daughter work under pressure real optunity lossed WHY!

My son and daughter in law have just purchased a house that looks like the houses this year on the block before the renovations started.. The block the house is on is huge at 900sqm but before they can move into the house they need a kitchen , bathroom and some advice on where the asbestos sheeting is inside and out. They are totally new too renovating just like Dale and Sophie this season and they need some ideas tips and where they should start. Dale , Sophie if you are around Brisbane I am sure Luke and Bec would love some advice

Our family has been loyal BLOCK viewers since the original series in 2003. We have watched each series over and over several times. We are currently watching the 2012 series for the second time along with The Block NZ. I wish they had such shows here in Canada. We are excited to see who is selected for the upcoming All Stars season. Even though it is almost 10 years since the first series, and granted Season 2 was a disappointment with all the drama, I hope there is at least one representative from each of the first two seasons. I would be interested to see how they do against current competitors. Also, Scott Cam has developed into a good host, but if there are Season 1 or 2 contestants brought back Channel Nine should somehow try to work Jamie Durie into at least a few episodes of the All Stars. It would be a nice tribute to Jamie and tie the old in with the new. Unfortunately I feel Jamie is a talent being wasted in his current role. Regards, Joe Szostak Loyal Canadian Blockhead

For the next series, the block could have two prizes of equal financial value, a win judged by the judges on tv and a prize for every room that is equal in money, that is judged by the public.

I would love to see a cost breakdown per room for materials and items purchased.

As much as I go for their great retro look it is frustrating watching Sophie do very little except shop while everyone helps her paint and she acts like the helpless girl why go on a show if you can't do any work. It would be good to see some actual renovating rather than games. Bring back the renovators now they worked hard.

Agree with all comments regarding girls not pulling their weight, Lara only one seeming to help actually work, I also thought that Dannie meant she would swap the one point instead of money.Hats off to Sophie and Dale for being fair to all and not bankrupting one couple!

Just on another note.ILOVETHEBLOCK. some thingsmay annoy me but i love it!

So Dan and Danny have money to give toSophie and Dale, i fell it is their fault because of thetimes Dan has not said no to Danny's unlimited shopping maybe they should of thought about their spending before they conpletely ran out of money. Danny used to rub it in abouthow much money she ahd to spend on linon and other things. Now it has come to bite her on the ***, and i think Dan should of started saying no sooner.
