If anyone had the potential to win Celebrity Apprentice - David Hasselhoff would have been a shoo-in.
A PR dream - David brought the crowds and money; so you can imagine everyone’s surprise (including some not-so-happy responses) when David made his startling announcement that he was leaving the competition.
"I loved working on this show. It was a pleasant experience and it wasn't easy," David said.
As David drives off into the evening lights, he reveals a side to his nature that a lot of people wouldn’t expect.
"I'm David Hasselhoff, I'm not 'The Hoff'," David says with a wistful smile.
"'The Hoff' was something that was created and is fun, and it's endearing and (the celebrities) kinda realised…that I'm not 'The Hoff'. I'm a person with a heart."
