Proving he's more than just a boy from the bush, Ben Dark leaves the competition with a cheeky smile on his face and his head held high.
"I can honestly say I do not regret one thing," Ben says. "I leave tonight a very happy, content and hopefully, educational (sic) father”.
With the numerous challenges behind him, Ben reflects on the money he’s helped raise and is especially proud that his charity - the Royal Brisbane Children’s Hospital - managed to receive some much needed funds.
"I am really proud... by being team leader for two of the challenges, I actually gave the Royal Brisbane Children’s Hospital $80,000 which is gonna go a long, long way to helping the tackers that are in there and having a pretty tough time and I’m very, very proud of that."
Despite having achieved so much, Ben admits he does feel sadness about one thing. Sort of.
"The only sadness I've got is Dicko has not once said in the whole competition: 'Gee, Ben's smart.'" exclaims Ben who then bursts out laughing. "All he's said is I can't do big words."
From the amount of chuckling coming from Ben's car, we can be assured Dicko's words haven't hit hard. Maybe.
He's a secret fashion guru and is more than happy placing the wrong engine into a new car - what’s been your favourite Ben Dark moment? Tell us about it in the comments area below.
