Brendan Cowell as Rodney Marsh

Brendan Cowell is best known for his roles as Tom in Love My Way and Captain Oliver Woodward in the World War II feature film Beneath Hill 60.

He also starred in the romantic comedy I Love You Too (directed by Daina Reid) and Matthew Saville’s acclaimed Noise, for which he won the Film Critics Circle of Australia and Inside Film Awards for Best Lead Actor.

His television credits include Rush, White Collar Blue, Young Lions and Water Rats. Most recently he was seen in The Slap and Underbelly: The One Who Got Away.

Also a writer, he has received the Patrick White Playwrights’ Award, the Griffin Award and the Philip Parsons Young Playwright’s Award for his work. His screenwriting credits include The Slap and Love My Way.

His first novel, How It Feels, was published in 2010.

He will next be seen in the feature film Save Your Legs (which he also wrote) due in cinemas in late 2012.
