Shelley Craft's career started in the early 1990s when she was noticed while doing work experience at a television studio in Brisbane. This led to a job offer on the bottom rung as a production assistant.
But it didn’t take her very long to move up. After a few months she was in front of the camera, presenting the children’s program Saturday Disney.
Shelley spent six years with Saturday Disney as a presenter and segment producer and was always looking to polish her skills. Hard work and experience paid off when she was approached to join The Great Outdoors in 2002. She was on her way, in more ways than one.
"It was a fantastic experience," Shelley said of the gig. "I travelled to two dozen countries and to every corner of the Earth."
A keen sportswoman, she has been a commentator on a number of special sporting presentations, including the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
In 2008, she signed with the Nine Network to host the hugely popular Australia's Funniest Home Videos. She went from strength to strength at Nine, demonstrating a real flair for lifestyle programs when she co-hosted Domestic Blitz with Scott Cam. She is now a regular fixture on Nine's hit reality-reno show The Block.
In 2009, Shelley married cameraman Christian Sergiacomi in Byron Bay. They have two daughters, Milla Grace and Eadie Rose.
