How To: Candelabra

Materials Required:
1 piece of pine, cut to 1500 x 300
Stainless steel cable and swages to suit
4 x screw eyes
4 x toggles
Around 30 candles of various heights, we used all white

Directions:
1. Finish the timber with a stain, we used Feast & Watson Walnut
2. Attach 4 screw eyes to the shelf
3. Attach 4 heavy duty toggle hooks to ceiling, corresponding to screw eyes in the shelf
4. Cut 4 cables of equal length, make a loop on each end using wire swages - best height is 700mm from top of dining table - and attach to screw eyes.
5. Connect to heavy duty toggle hooks.

I think this is a great idea, instead of spending the money to get a pendant light installed over the dining table and it would be quite atmospheric and intimate. I love it - and can paint the wod to suit your decor ! I don't usually have children climbing on the table
wouldn't it be dangerous? but looks beautiful. WOuld love something like this but with grandchildren I doubt it they wouldbe touching all the time.
