Ladette Shari

Shari describes herself as “loud, proud and sick fun”, but the one thing family and friends would be shocked to know about her is that she’s actually very sad. A middle child, Shari doesn’t think twice about taking her clothes off and is proud of the fact she’s dated two men at once with neither of them finding out. She considers comedian Russell Brand to be her male equivalent and she hopes Aussie Ladette to Lady will help her control her swearing, quit smoking and give her an appreciation of wine.

Shari’s mum Debbie says: "I see so much potential for Shari and I am just hoping that going on Aussie Ladette to Lady will kick start something positive for her.”

I turned on this show tonight and saw annoying and abnoxious women trying to train girls to become ladies. From times past, a woman is known to be a lady through her elegance, grace (graciousness), character, kindness,strength, and compassion. These "teachers" are nothing but a fascade of what a true lady ought to be. A true lady is worthy of respect and there was none of it owed to these teachers. Women have an incredible role and talent of getting beside someone and graciously encouraging and exhorting someone to be all that they are to be...any dog can spit words out of what ought or shouldn't be done..it takes a true lady to do it graciously. I hope these contestants aren't for real. If they are, all these teachers are doing is making them hate who they are and resenting what it is to be a lady. In essence, the teachers are doing nothing short of decapitating the respect and honor of what it is to be a lady and turning it into a pitiful set of rules.

I sat there in complete shock when I watched Shari, who I learnt was also from Perth. I nearly cried watching her EMBARASS herself. I believe that Shari needs to take a good look at herself and her family ought to be ashamed for allowing her to get like this, there is NO excuse! I will not be watching this show again but at 19 years old myself I still cannot believe how disgusting these girls are and cannot quite imagine what goes through their heads when they act so appallingly. I am completely and utterly disgusted that anyone would go on this show and expose their behaviour like this. I hope Shari has learnt from her experiences but regardless, people have seen her disgusting ways and I doubt she will ever be able to redeem herself.I just need her to know that not everyone thinks that her 'drunken antics' are 'cool'. She is a disgrace to teenage females in Perth and ought to be ashamed of herself.
