Laurence Fishburne is leaving the drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after three seasons.

The Emmy-winning actor previously known for his roles in The Matrix film series opted not to renew his deal to continue on the series.

Fishburne replaced William Petersen when he left the show in season nine.
