Holly Franklin's Invention

, Prev Next
To many people the idea of losing a limb sounds like a nightmare. Holly Franklin had her left arm removed at the age of 29 she took it as a sign that it was time to start living her dreams. Despite being an amputee she managed to become a licensed scuba diving instructor, go bungee jumping and white water rafting.

See Holly’s own ‘1-UP Hair Tie’ demos at OT QLD’S Promoting Better Living Expo in Brisbane on October 28-29.

Visit www.otqld.org.au for more information.

The Expo aims to promote and celebrate the important role occupational therapists play in the allied health sector. Occupational therapists can make the difference between simply existing and making the best of each moment.
