Known as Mr Paparazzi, Darryn owns one of the world’s biggest picture agencies, Big Pictures, and is a media personality.

Originally from Geelong, Darryn moved to London in 1987 with a dream to conquer Fleet Street. He soon landed a role as freelance photographer at The Daily Mail. Long before his life of the celebrity world glamour, he was a war photographer and completed two trips to Sarajevo. He was kidnapped in Bosnia, has covered revolutions in Romania and Czechoslovakia and covered the fall of the Berlin Wall.

He set up Big Pictures in 1992, spreading it from a bedroom in his North London flat to an international set-up stretching from London to New York to Sydney. Diversifying into property, Darryn has led a life of excess.

The divorcee recently starred in Britain’s Celebrity Big Brother. He attracted worldwide headlines after unveiling fake abs, where cosmetic surgery seemingly sculpts a six-pack on his less-than-flat stomach. The Sun has compared him to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, but Darryn insists he has no regrets.

Lisa pulled you through the whole show. You were so lazy and did very little for the team. You were full of yourself, so selfish and so nasty and negative. You didn't help Lisa at all. You held her back but she was too strong for you. You even tried to take some of the credit for Lisa's progress, what an ignorant fool. I don't know how she put up with you. Lisa was the STAR.
Keep giving as good as you get Lisa, you are an inspiration and you are looking fabulous. You should be proud Darren, I want to see both of you there at the end.

lisa, you have come so far in past few weeks. i used to get frustrated when you would say that its up to you to do something and then you would say that you didnt know if you could do it. it didnt matter if you thought you couldnt do it - you had to do what you could and you did and now you have achieved so much. you are an inspiration. i am half your weight and from watching you i thought about going to gym for first time in 20yrs. guess what girl, i couldnt even make 1km on the treadmill. its not just overweight people that need to be encouraged to be fit. you are so muh more healthy than i am - be proud and dont give up. if theres ever a show about unfit skinny people put a word in for me haha thanks and be proud you are a champ!!
Darryn you were not my favourite to begin with but you have won me over. I have just so much respect for you both now. Watching Lisa battle through her challenges alone with you still there encouraging her all the way. I do hope you both make it through to the end but, even if you don't you are still both winners in my eyes. And Lisa I hope you get your keyring from Darryn. You more than ever deserve it.
